Residence Life at NJIT is a community of over 2000 undergraduate and graduate students. From the beginning in 1978 to today students both women and men have found living on campus a rewarding experience.
Living on campus at NJIT provides an on-campus learning environment that is welcoming to all students and fosters the development of residents through leadership opportunities, educational experiences, and community involvement.
The residence hall experience will provide you with the opportunity to develop lasting friendships, learn about different people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and increase your own personal growth. As a science, technology and design university, academic learning is the primary mission of NJIT, but the extracurricular activities will help you learn and grow beyond the walls of the classroom into a well-rounded global citizen with hands-on training to prepare you for real-world experiences.
